We eat here several times a year and my husband also brings the food home carryout on occasion. I don't think we've ever gotten a bad meal from them. Lunches range generally under $10, with quite a few lunch specials each day, and the dinners are generally under $15.00. We especially like their chicken with candied walnuts, the orange beef, and their house fried rice. My favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Cleveland. less

We went there for a simple soup - won ton and some fried rice - very simple - the staff was horrible - made us wait while they took care of "bigger" clients and when at the end of the evening we refused to give the waiter, who had never even brought our drinks, a tip - the "boss" came around telling us that he would charge our card anyway! He didn't but I will never go there anymore. less

An excellent Chinese restaurant. Service is very good, as is the food. Hunan Coventry is closed on Mondays, and closes for a full week every summer (we always manage to show up during that week, too, much to our disappointment!). The only negat ... more

An excellent Chinese restaurant. Service is very good, as is the food. Hunan Coventry is closed on Mondays, and closes for a full week every summer (we always manage to show up during that week, too, much to our disappointment!). The only negative thing I could say about this restaurant is that the wonton soup is much too bland for my liking. However, the hot & sour and chicken-corn chowder more than make up for that shortcoming! Lunch entrees are generally in the $7-10 range, and are quite generous. Try the Yu Hsiang chicken or the Chicken Country Style, which are my two favorite items on the menu. less
