A slice of New York in the middle of Morris County. Service is courteous and efficient. This place is a hit!! less

In the last year or so there has been an proliferation of new Thai restaurants within 10 minutes of this restaurant, which should impact greatly on business here. The food is good but not great. I like my Thai food very hot and spicy, and the food I ate in this restaurant was pretty tame. less

While I certainly think that the food was good, the service was excellent, the grounds were beautiful, etc., I do not believe that this is one of the great New Jersey restaurants. This is a place where jackets and ties are expected for gentlemen. There seems to be a large corporate clientele (probably on expense accounts). Portions are small. The tasting menu (I think this costs something like $80) takes forever to get through...a whole batch of small courses. less

This is one of New Jersey's premier five star restaurants. Definitely the place to go for that special night out. The food is excellent, the service is impeccable. Definitely the place to go for that special night out. The food is excellent, the service is impeccable. The Short Hills Hilton is wonderfully appointed...always fresh flowers in the lobby. The antiques and furnishings are like those contained in the fanciest of homes. You can't miss with this restaurant. Reservations a must. So are jackets and ties for the gentlemen. less

If you show up after 6:00 or 6:30 p.m., expect to wait for a table. I have enjoyed some wonderful meals in this restaurant, and particularly remember a wonderful bass dish (can't remember the name) which was slathered with an absolutely drop-dead sauce. When the restaurant gets crowded, you feel alittle guilty hanging around for too long. Other than that however, the food and service are excellent. less

The restaurant is large and very casual. In the summer you can eat outside if you choose. I found the food to be so-so. My linguini and white clam sauce was tasteless, and despite the fact that I sent it back for more sauce (or something to spice it up), the returned version was hardly better. My companion enjoyed her meal much more than I did. Maybe linguini and clam sauce is NOT a house specialty. less
