If you are looking for upscale dining or exotic dishes, go somewhere
else. But if you are looking for good Cantonese food at reasonable
prices, stop at Dragon Gate. For me and my husband, their wonton
soup is the standard by which all others are measured. They are
open quite late, too (11 PM or midnight, I believe). For a taste
of most of their standard fare, order Cantonese for Two (your
choice of several entrees, fried rice, & wonton soup) and a Pu-Pu
platter (egg rolls, teriyaki sticks, breaded shrimp, and spareribs).
You could even turn a trip to Dragon Gate into an evening of fun...they
are right in front of a miniature golf course and driving range!
Not the most elegant restaurant around, but if you're looking
for well-prepared food, fast and polite service, and moderate
prices, this is your place.

Very good Cantonese food...their Lemon Chicken is excellent!
Nice decor and fast, friendly service. We've been eating at Wah
Fu for more than ten years, and have never had a bad experience.
Not too fancy...just good Chinese food.

For a taste of a bunch of their specialties, order the platter
for two (@ $50). This will get you salad, pita with excellent olive
oil and feta to sprinkle on top, saganaki (a flaming cheese appetizer),
dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), lamb chops, kalamari rings
(that are not the least bit rubbery and taste faintly of lemon),
Greek sausages and meatballs, gyro meat, tzatziki (garlic cucumber
dip - make sure you both eat it, because you will absolutely reek
of garlic later!) taramasalata (a dip made with fish roe - it's
OK, but we order double tzatziki instead!), and a choice of desserts
(go for the baklava - it is fantastic!). The decor is very nice...lots
of blue and white. Excellent, attentive service. During warmer
weather, you can eat at tables set up outside, too. As far as parking
is concerned, if you are going during the evening, find a parking
space on the street...it is possible!

You could probably eat at Mongolian Barbeque every day for the
rest of your life, and never eat the same thing twice! No exaggeration,
either. The whole experience, from putting all your ingredients
together from several meat choices, a wide range of "fillers"
(veggies, pasta, tofu cubes), and a huge selection of "sauces"
(flavored oils, wine, lemon juice, etc.) and spices (from the
tame to the quite spicy), to watching the grillers cook your food,
is LOT of fun! Hints to new MBBQers: Use more than two ladles of
"sauce"...anything less than three and you're taking a chance
of your meal being a bit dry. Also, ask for drink and/or tortilla
and rice refills before you actually need them...service can
sometimes be a bit slow.

An excellent Chinese restaurant. Service is very good, as is
the food. Hunan Coventry is closed on Mondays, and closes for
a full week every summer (we always manage to show up during that
week, too, much to our disappointment!). The only negative thing
I could say about this restaurant is that the wonton soup is much
too bland for my liking. However, the hot & sour and chicken-corn
chowder more than make up for that shortcoming! Lunch entrees
are generally in the $7-10 range, and are quite generous. Try
the Yu Hsiang chicken or the Chicken Country Style, which are
my two favorite items on the menu.

I really love their lunch buffet (last time we were there, it was
$4.95 for all you can eat on Saturdays, $8.95 on Sundays). There
are always at least three or four different kinds of plain pasta
that you can top with any one of several sauces (marinara, tomato-butter,
meat, Alfredo, etc.), a bunch of other entree selections (examples:
bracciole, Italian sausage, calamari, stuffed cabbage, pork
chops, chicken), a full salad bar, pizza, and two different soup
choices (their minestrone and wedding soups are excellent).
Watch out for the Italian sausage stuffed peppers...I love spicy
food (I have all four different Tabasco sauces sitting on my dining
room table!), but those peppers were quite a bit hotter than I
had expected! Forewarned is forearmed, though...they ARE excellent.
We have had parties catered by Stancato's, and my wedding shower
was held there this past February, and I have never had a bad experience.
